How to contact Yoga Beach House?

By email is best and fastest. If you have already enquired or booked and received an email from us, simply reply to this email with any queries. If you are contacting us for the first time, please fill in the form here, www.yogabeachhouse.com/contact

I’ve never done yoga before, are your retreats for me?

Of course, we welcome beginners through to advanced yogis. If you have a body you can practice yoga!

What should I bring?

Comfy clothing, this is not Paris or Nice, south west France is fairly low key. A big jumper or hoody for early mornings or evenings. Flip flops and a beach towel. There are plenty of shops walking distance if you forget anything. Any yoga clothing from Yuj Yoga or Manduka can be pre-ordered before you come. Contact us with your shopping list and receive a nice discount.

I’ll be traveling alone. Is that ok?

About 90% of our guests travel solo and as we are a small retreat house we become like a big family for a week. Bisca-plage and Yoga Beach House is very safe and secure place to stay as a solo traveller.

How much does it cost?

We offer 5 rooms at Yoga Beach House.  Prices start from 699 euro for a shared room for a standard retreat during July or August. Look out for early bird offers and promos on our social media.

What is included in the price?

All group yoga classes, accommodation plus 2 organic meals per day. The pricing is based on a formula of 6 nights, 7 days all inclusive. If you leave early or arrive late we do not apply a pro-rota reimbursement.

I have an allergy or a specific dietary requirement. How does that work?

Please let us know before if you have any special dietary requirements so that we can cater for you accordingly. Our menu is organic and vegetarian and includes some organic diary cheese and milk so we are not following a vegan raw regime.

I just booked a yoga retreat, will you send me a program of the week?

No, you will be briefed on arrival and given the program of each day and the exact times.

Can I come with a few friends?

Of course, the more the merrier!  We have shared and private rooms available. We also rent out Yoga Beach House to visiting yoga teachers so that they can customise retreats for their own students (very limited availability, please enquire for more information).

Which airport and how do I get to Yoga Beach House?

The nearest airport is Bordeaux and we are an hour from the airport. Check blabla car for car shares or hire a car from the airport. Click for more info on getting here

How’s the weather?

Summer months are warm and sunny with an occasional rainy day here and there. Temperatures range from mid to late 20’s. During heat waves temperature can rise to mid to late 30's. Luckily we are near the sea and benefit from sea breezes.

Do you provide mats?

Yes, everything you need for a yoga class is provided.

How do I pay?

Online via our secure booking system.  This ensures your space is reserved. Please note that all payments are non-refundable and the balance is due at the time of booking unless we have agreed to a payment plan with you.

What are the terms and conditions?

All payments including deposit payments for teacher training or house rental are non-refundable. In the event that you are not able to come for any reason you may transfer your booking to another suitable person or another date, subject to availability and management discretion. See full terms for more info

Are classes in French or English?

Short answer is that classes are in both. Community classes will always be in French. Classes with retreat guests and visitors will be in English and French.

Can I do other activities during a retreat?

Yes we organise a weekly bike trip, surf lessons, paddle yoga, massages and energy healing.

I speak only French, can I come on a retreat?

Ideally you will have some level of English. Most of our guests are international and speak English and some French. If you can be confident to exchange cultures and languages outside the yoga studio during dinners and when lounging then we have a happy home.
